Auspicious Date Finder

Pick a modern life event and a date window — every day is graded by the classical almanac rule tables (宜/忌 lists, the twelve day officers, the ecliptic stars), deterministically and entirely in your browser.

The default window is the next 90 days. Days graded below the bar are dropped; the rest are ranked by net score.

How dates are graded

Each day carries three classical signals: the almanac's auspicious/avoid term lists (宜/忌), the twelve day officers (建除十二神), and the ecliptic stars (黄黑道). Your event is mapped onto the traditional vocabulary — a wedding reads 嫁娶, a move reads 移徙/入宅, an opening reads 开市 — and days whose lists match the mapping rank highest. The full mapping is public: it is the same table the monthly pages render.

Every day branch opposes (冲) the zodiac animal six steps away in the cycle. Give your birth year and the days that clash your own animal are flagged — traditionally a caution worth weighing even on an otherwise strong day.
