Yichuan YizhuanLine statement
The fourth line does not correspond with the initial line, but holds together with the fifth line. Holding together outwardly with the fifth line allows it to attain correctness and good fortune.
Ruler and minister holding together is correct; holding together and assisting each other is proper.
The fifth line is firm, yang, central, and correct—a worthy ruler occupying the honored position above; cherishing the worthy and following the superior is the correctness of Holding Together, hence it is perseverance and good fortune.
Six dwelling in the fourth position also carries the meaning of attaining correctness. Furthermore, when an yin, yielding, and non-central person can hold together with a firm, enlightened, central, and correct worthy, he attains correctness and good fortune.
In addition, holding together with the worthy and following the superior must be done through the correct way to bring good fortune. These several explanations complement one another before the meaning becomes complete.
